I am generally interested in the Heteroptera or true bugs as a model group to study the effects of habitat characteristics on the distribution and diversity of insects in fragmented and human-altered landscapes.

I am currently working on true bug communities in dead wood habitats and the diversity of true bugs in tropical forests in Borneo.
